What is PRP?

Platelet-Rich plasma also known as PRP is offered our Los Angeles clinic and is used by our clients for several treatments. PRP is substance drawn from your own blood, put through a process and re injected and/or applied to expedite the process of cell healing. The importance of this treatment relies solely on the plasma factor of it, which contain protein, blood clotting and cell growth factors.

PRP also known as Platelet-Rich plasma is offered at several of our Toronto clinics. The treatment itself has many benefits and can be used for several treatments. PRP is a substance drawn from your blood prior to the process, and put through cycle before it is re-injected and/or applied to the treatment area. The major component of this treatment heavily relies on the growth factor of the plasma; which includes acceleration in cell growth factors and protein in the cells.

What Can I Use PRP For?

Whether you are looking to get that beautiful glow in your skin back, or bring back the once had luscious hair – our Los Angeles Clinic offers several treatments that use PRP. Some of the benefits PRP can provide you with include but are not limited to:

  • Hair Loss
  • Acne Scars
  • Skin Rejuvenation
  • Deep Wrinkles
  • Marionette Lines

How Does It Work & Is It Painful?

PRP therapy is a safe, and natural alternative to fillers. The treatment includes the withdrawal of a small fraction of blood from the client receiving the treatment. The withdrawn blood is then spun in a centrifuge device in order to separate the components (red blood cells, Platelet Rich Plasma, and Plasma). The process allows a concentrated growth factor – which amplifies the healing process.

Although most PRP treatment require withdrawal and injection – at Beauty Bar Los Angeles, we ensure our nurses use specific procedure and application to ensure an almost pain free experience.

PRP treatments are all safe and because PRP treatments are all natural – and are a great alternative to fillers. All PRP treatments are put through the same process which entails the withdrawal of a small fraction of your blood and then cycled through our centrifuge device in order to separate red blood cells, platelet rich plasma and plasma. The process also accelerates the cell growth factor, which amplifies healing.
